2nd Coming of GM Nigel Short

Ghana Chess Association(GCA) in collaboration with Kasparov Chess Foundation(KCF) wishes to inform the general public about the visit of British Grandmaster and Former World Championship contender GM. Nigel Short is in Ghana at the moment.
As a FIDE President aspirant, Nigel will get the opportunity to meet the executives of the Ghana Chess Association on the way forward with chess development in Ghana. After that he will meet up with the National chess team, amateurs as well as chess enthusiasts in a seminar later in the day. He will also conclude with an exhibition match with the winner of a blitz event to be held the same day.
Below is the schedule of activities and the general public is invited.
☑11:30am- Meeting with GCA officials at Movenpic Ambassador Hotel
☑3:00pm Chess Seminar/training at Media Center of Accra Sports Stadium
☑6:00pm Blitz(5/2) tournament with prizes for top 3 places at same venue
☑8pm Exhibition match between the Grandmaster and the winner of the day.
