GHANA TO PLAY IN THREE NATION TEAM TOURNAMENT

Ghana will be joining West African chess giants Nigeria and hosts Ivory Coast  to play in the Ivory coast invitational tournament from 26-28 June 2015 in Abijan.

The Ghana delegation of six shall be led by Philip Ameku, the Vice President of the Ghana Chess Association, meanwhile; other members of the team include Joseph Jamena, Lionel Adu, Carlton Hushie, Daniel Osom and Benard Anhwere.

The 6-player team round robin format is designed to offer an opportunity for up to 10 players to secure FIDE ratings for the first time.
