Knightmares Chess Club retains the Team Championship trophy
The 2018 Team championships ended successfully last night at the Thoedosia Oko Hockey stadium.
13 teams and 66 players participated in this year’s event; the highest so far. The tournament was played in 7 round swiss format. Most teams consisted of 4 players and a reserve with a compulsory female on either board two or board three. The duration of the play was 20 minutes to complete the game. All games were played in one day.
Knightmares Chess Club for the second time in a row snatched the prestigious trophy from the favorites “Osu Chess Club”, which proves their determination and strong cohesion as a team.
Congratulations to Knightmares for winning gold with 6 wins and 1 loss. Dreamfort B for winning silver with 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, and Osu for claiming bronze medal with 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.
